Frequently asked questions
Will these documents work for my application?
For citizenship and permanent residency, yes, once you complete the full programme. Not for a temporary residence permit: the law changed. The documents state the hours you completed, which is what the authorities ask for.
Why can't I just enrol at a Centro Qualifica for free?
You can, and it costs nothing: it is a state programme. The difference is time. We book and fill groups in advance, so our students start on the date they see here. Going directly usually means a waiting list, and a start up to five months away.
Who issues the certificates?
Ola Facultet issues the Declaração de Matrícula, the Declaração de Frequência and the Certificado de Formação Profissional. Ours is registered on the state SIGO portal with a series and number, so it can be checked against the database. The state programme certificates are issued by our partner Centro Qualifica, one for each of the two levels.
Do I have to attend the classes?
Yes. The documents record the hours you actually complete, so they follow your attendance. Every lesson is recorded, so a missed one can be caught up.
Can I move to a later group?
The state programme cannot be moved: it is tied to your tax number and granted once. Pick a start date you can actually attend.
What happens if I don't finish?
You receive a statement of the hours you completed. It is not enough for a citizenship or permanent residency application.
When exactly do classes start?
A new group starts every month, with daytime and evening streams. You know the date before you pay. The two parts run independently, so you pick your slot in the state programme separately from our course.
